WHERE YOU HEADING: Heading home to Funky-Chinatown to see my babes!
WHAT ARE YOU RIDING:An old Supercycle that is always left on my porch, my nice Tall Tree bike would get swiped if I left it out in my ‘hood. So this is the fast bike choice.
WHY DO YOU RIDE: It’s fast, cheap, good for mama-earth and its easier to stop and chat with friends you bump into!
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT BIKING IN OTTAWA WHAT WOULD IT BE: The winter is so damn cold and icy, i can’t brave it on a bike. We need bike tunnels that run under the city, or better yet domed side walks like in the Jetsons!

FAVOURITE SPOTS TO BIKE: Maclaren street, the trees on it are so pretty. And it leads straight to the grocery store!
FAVOURITE PLACE TO STOP AFTER A RIDE: Whenever we bike on the Gatineau side I love stopping at Edgar for a delicious snack and chat with the delightful Marysol

WHERE YOU HEADING: Heading out to a Twin Peaks marathon with some pals!
WHAT ARE YOU RIDING: It’s nothing fancy, it’s got duct-tape trying to keep parts of it together. I tried to jazz it up last summer, I wanted to turn it into “Victoire bike”, kinda the way the Garlic King has his car all pimped out, but a mini bike version of that. But I kinda dropped the ball on it…Anyways, that’s why parts are spray-painted gold!
WHY DO YOU RIDE: I hate waiting for the bus and not knowing how long it’ll take to get somewhere, I love how quick & easy bikes are. It’s the fastest way to get around to just about anywhere I want to go!
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT BIKING IN OTTAWA WHAT WOULD IT BE: I hate how long the winter is, I’m not hardcore enough to brave it out once there’s snow on the ground.

FAVOURITE SPOTS TO BIKE: To the Rockcliffe quarry! I like it cos it feels like I’m going to a secret hideaway, and I get to oogle all the pretty mansions on the way there!
FAVOURITE PLACE TO STOP AFTER A RIDE: I love picking up flowers at Bel Fiore at the end of a day of zipping around town running errands.
