OCCUPATION: Artist, Illustrator, Traveller, Art teacher, Entrepreneur, former owner of The Studio Cafe
WHERE YOU HEADING: I toodle about, staying close to the Experimental Farm area(near my home) plus as a country girl- it speaks to my heart.
WHAT ARE YOU RIDING: a Green enamel (with Gold Lining of course). 1970’s, 3 speed Raleigh with original Dynothree light , fitted with a Basil Dog Basket.
WHY DO YOU RIDE: I actually bought the bike to be able to enjoy some lesiurely days with my pug. She is no sporting dogs and as a result gets pretty tuckered out even when we walk. So on a hot day, she can enjoy an easy breezey ride in the “Puggy Buggy”. She closes her eyes and points her face up to the sky…she LOVES it.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT BIKING IN OTTAWA WHAT WOULD IT BE: bike lanes in the suburbs too please!
WHAT ARE YOU WEARING: I’m wearing a bohemian, Indian cotton Jumper shirt, Jewelry from Mexico, gladiator shoes, *as well as a handmade beaded belt from Oaxaca

FAVOURITE PLACE TO STOP AFTER A RIDE: picnic by the canal/ hogsback
