Hey Velo Voguers! This Friday we got to attend a fabulous exclusive event at one of East Ottawa’s hidden gems Place d’Orléans to promote their Vlogger search contest. We were chosen as one of the top 10 Ottawa fashion bloggers to be ambassadors of their Vlogger search. We definitely felt honoured!
We received this wonderful invite in the form of a clapper board! How cute is that?
The event took place on the Fountain stage where they had a fantastic set up made to look like a bedroom. It was very stylish and very comfortable! From the moment we saw it we were ready to move in!
At the event we had a chance to network with other fashion bloggers from the Ottawa area. They were all so nice and it was so great to finally meet them in person!
The food at the event was catered by one of our favourites, Thyme and again. The sweets were provided by Carla’s Cakes. It was all delicious!
We were even treated to some free time to shop around the mall. Our wonderful hosts provided us with handsome VIP escorts to follow us and help with our bags! Definitely not a bad touch! Now we’re certainly not used to receiving such attention on the regular, but who were we to turn down such gracious offerings?
Place d’Orléans is full of some amazing finds! We challenged ourselves to find fabulous outfits for under a 100$, and let us tell you we did succeed. There were so many store options to choose from, we didn’t know where to start. No matter what your style is you’ll find stores to suit your taste. Check out our fashion finds in our Vlog.
We made sure to get in a few high fashion photo sessions where we could!
Once we had shopped till we dropped we returned to the stage to make our own video to show off our treasures! Check it out below.

From September 1st to 9th, shop at Place d’Orléans and then visit our in-mall Vlogger bedroom studio set to shoot your entry vlog about all the great stuff you found! You could win $300 a month for the next 6 months to keep shopping and vlogging!
Once you’ve submitted your video, make sure to tell your friends to vote for your vlog on the Place d’Orléans Facebook Page from September 10-12!
The top 10 vlogs will be determined by the most votes received. These vloggers will then do a live Shop Off on September 16th at Place d’Orléans and present their final vlog LIVE in front of a judging panel and audience.
The winner will be announced by the judges at this live event hosted by 105.3 KISS FM’s Sandra and Jenny On The Block. Join us at this exciting event and you could win some amazing prizes too!!!
