Hill and Ellis was dreamt up in 2012 by designer/cyclist Catherine Ellis. Catherine wanted a stylish bag that could carry everything but also didn’t look like a sports pannier. She noticed that there weren’t any panniers on the market and decided to design and them herself.
The bags are made by handbag makers in Delhi, India using high-quality leather.
The bags have waterproof zip pockets; a RAIN COVER; hidden pannier hooks; a protective metal bar (to keep leather from chaffing); inner features like a zipped pocket for valuables, key hook for keys and laptop sleeve; outer pocket with zipper; and the big key feature REVERSIBLE REFLECTIVE STRIPS which are leather on one side and reflective on the other.
