Meet Andrew Vincent
NAME: Andrew Vincent
OCCUPATION:Writer/Consultant/Musician.
WHERE YOU HEADING: I’m taking the long road to Kelp 20
WHAT ARE YOU RIDING: Raleigh Twenty. A gift from my brother after the original was stolen. The original was also the subject of my first recorded song, “Brown Bike”
WHY DO YOU RIDE: Cheap, fast, feels like freedom
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT BIKING IN OTTAWA WHAT WOULD IT BE: More people biking. Less people driving. I think it’s happening. Maybe we can speed it up. Give people beer credits for biking to work.
WHAT ARE YOU WEARING: I’m trying to make my mornings easy by wearing the same thing everyday. So i bought five navy blue shirts and some colourful socks that don’t match anything. In this case, the shirt is from UNIQLO, the jeans (and shoes) are from J CREW and the socks are from Holt Renfrew. That hat is from Antique and sunglasses are from Bustukah.
FAVOURITE SPOTS TO BIKE: Centretown/West Centretown; Gladstone, Arlington, Rochester streets, etc.
FAVOURITE PLACE TO STOP AFTER A RIDE: Huong’s Bistro.
