WHAT ARE YOU RIDING: Raleigh Cruiser I bought years ago, still going strong.
WHY DO YOU RIDE: it can be so peaceful on a day off. Just taking in the scenery, stopping for a picnic with friends, food and wine. It’s a effective way for me to clear my head and get some exercise!
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT BIKING IN OTTAWA WHAT WOULD IT BE: More places to lock up! Especially outside grocery stores.

- Shoes: Too old to mention!
FAVOURITE SPOTS TO BIKE: who doesn’t love the canal! I also enjoy biking on the quieter side streets of centretown.
FAVOURITE PLACE TO STOP AFTER A RIDE: My pop’s house for a beer, amazing music, kisses from the cutest Boston terrier and a delicious dinner!!

WHAT ARE YOU RIDING: Customized Mountain Bike. It’s a bike that was given to me. I am a causal biker, it’s not a hobby I am into.
WHY DO YOU RIDE: I don’t own a car, nor do I care for the bus. It’s much faster, and enjoyable, than walking. It’s fun to feel freedom on a bike.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT BIKING IN OTTAWA WHAT WOULD IT BE: Encourage people to bike, have more bike lanes. Less Cars.

FAVOURITE SPOTS TO BIKE: I enjoy the canal, it’s peaceful.
FAVOURITE PLACE TO STOP AFTER A RIDE: Dow’s Lake. It gives me time to contemplate, and it’s a good place to get some sun.
