WHAT ARE YOU RIDING: Electra Hawaii 3i, a mum’s day gift a few years ago from my sweeties. Fondly remember my then 4 year old spillling the surprise and then totally pretending it didn’t happen!
WHY DO YOU RIDE: It is FUN … feeling the wind through my hair and the beautiful scenery, the fact that it is good exercise and eco-friendly even better.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT BIKING IN OTTAWA WHAT WOULD IT BE: R-E-S-P-E-C-T … vehicles and bikes need to develop a mutual respect and treat each other accordingly.

FAVOURITE SPOTS TO BIKE: This exact spot, the NCC greenbelt trail, goes north to the Ottawa River and then follows it downtown and beyond! There is a fantastic hill near my place that ends with a wooden bridge … flying down and over that is 5 seconds of AMAZING! Also, along the parkways during Sunday Bike Days.
FAVOURITE PLACE TO STOP AFTER A RIDE: These days it’s often poolside with wine in my backyard, though maybe Manx Pub, Elgin St. or Chez Lucien, Murray St. for brunch.
