WHY DO YOU RIDE: Mainly, I ride to commute around the city. I think it’s a fun and efficient way to get to places.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT BIKING IN OTTAWA WHAT WOULD IT BE: Develop infrastructure to help make commuting by bicycle and riding in general safer and more accessible than it currently is in Ottawa. While imperfect, I think the bixi bikes, the bike racks on city buses/allowing bikes on the O-train, and the well-marked bike lanes are steps in the right direction.
