WHERE YOU HEADING: Just going for an evening ride through Centretown and the Glebe.
WHAT ARE YOU RIDING: We are riding our new tandem bike. Came across this beaut on Kijiji and just had to have it. We are expecting in October now though so may have to upgrade soon to a triplet!
WHY DO YOU RIDE: Because it’s fun! But also because it’s an easy way to get around the city and a great way to sneak exercise into your day.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT BIKING IN OTTAWA WHAT WOULD IT BE: Biking infrastructure. Ottawa has some really awesome biking trails but unfortunately not all accommodate commuter riders.

FAVOURITE SPOTS TO BIKE: The Rideau Canal, The Rideau River, Voyageurs Pathway and along the Ottawa River
FAVOURITE PLACE TO STOP AFTER A RIDE: TOWN is definitely one of our favourites, awesome drinks, sharing plates and staff
FAVOURITE LOCAL VENUE: Pressed Cafe
FAVOURITE LOCAL COFFEE SHOP: Bridgehead Coffeehouse
FAVOURITE LOCAL BEER: So many to choose from! Beyond the Pale and Beau’s though are our go-to beers
FAVOURITE LOCAL SHOP: Bias towards Antique Skate (we live on the same street), also currently obsessed with GOODS on Dalhousie
